Hi, there! I'm Erin and obviously the author of this blog, ;). Some of you know that I'm a 30something Michiganer who has a serious crush on Kit Harington and a love for numerous TV series, mostly in the supernatural genre. If nothing else, everyone should know that I love to read even if I don't do it as voraciously as I did growing up. When my attention isn't focused on the computer and my leisure writing, there is nothing better to me that sprawling out on my bed with a good book or curling up in a chair with a cup of tea on hand.The Blog
I have a visual appreciation for books and tea as well and while I have a separate blog for that, sometimes I'll post neat or visually pleasing pictures here, too. Primarily, however, this blog will mostly deal with the progress of the books I'm reading, my thoughts on them, what I like about the content I'm reading, and what I don't like. In a nutshell, this is mostly a book-related blog! :)What You'll Find Here
- Books in the genre of Fantasy, Steampunk, and Urban Fantasy. Occasionally, you'll find a plain ol' Mystery novel, too!
- My progress. While it's easy to update my progress on Goodreads, sometimes I feel the need to express some thoughts on parts that I read. This generally helps keep me on task, so to speak. Plus, it helps fill up time between reviews! :D
- My thoughts. I call some posts reviews, but the way I write such posts I don't think would be considered a standard book review. Mostly, it's just feelings, thoughts, an aspect or two that really stuck out to me while reading the novel as a whole. I just want to share those ideas with others and talk about a book we both might end up liking together.
